OnePlus 6 design to have a notch, 8GB RAM and more!
Based on the latest updates, Carl Pei, co-founder of OnePlus, has officially confirmed that the OnePlus 6 is going to come with a notch. In details, Pei defends the decision by saying the OnePlus notch will be better than those that other Android makers have managed. Moreover, the smaller notch will measure 19.62 x 7.69mm, which means smaller camera module and lower quality photos. Also, OnePlus 6 will stick to the camera-based face recognition and fingerprint reader.
On the other hand, the bottom bezel is fixed in place, and all you can do to optimise your design is to reduce the top bezel by turning it into a notch instead of a full-width bar. Moreover, OnePlus 6 would be the OnePlus’ biggest screen to date with a notch-assisted screen-to-body ratio of 90 percent. Besides, the screen size is no larger than the company’s existing phones.
