Coming in June and November last year, the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T smartphones have earned the name “Flagship killers”. Now, the manufacturer has decided to let this OnePlus 3 series get new updates, along with 6GB RAM and 16MP selfie camera. Let’s dig in!
OnePlus 3 series: 6GB RAM, 16MP selfie Camera…
The first thing that helps the OnePlus 3 series get their current success is the screen quality. When compared to the competitors, two OnePlus players have led thanks to the Full HD resolution and the Optic AMOLED panels. Look at the displays of two phones, and you can see they show such vivid colors, brighter than their older brothers – OnePlus 1 and OnePlus 2. Talking about the OS, separately, the OnePlus 3 handset has Snapdragon 820, while the OnePlus 3T device offers Snapdragon 821.

Not to stop there, these OnePlus handsets come with the same GPU: Adreno 530. Speaking of the internal storage, both of the two OnePlus 3 phones provide 64GB ROM, and 6GB RAM alongside. However, the OnePlus 3T brand also has another variant with 128GB ROM. Unfortunately, none of them has the external memory. Besides, the manufacturer has confirmed that they both have the over the air update (OxygenOS 4.1.7) and the security patch for August, as well as some bug fixes and optimizations.
As for the photography tools, OnePlus 3 camera carries a 16MP back shooter with OIS, and an 8MP front-facing selfie snapper. Coincidentally, OnePlus 3T camera sports the identical rear camcorder, but a 16MP selfie one. Regarding the energy station, OnePlus 3 battery draws a Li-Ion non-removable 3,000mAh while OnePlus 3T cell is a 3,400mAh. Lastly, these two phones in the OnePlus 3 series support all of the basic connectivity options: Wi-fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, USB, and 4G.
