ZTE has teased us with the Nubia Z17 flagship for a while now. It is going to be a big phone release for ZTE, as the phone has enormous specs, with 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM, while being slimmer than Galaxy S8!

In recent months, there have been quite a few flagships released. All of them have something in common: running the latest Snapdragon 835 chipset (except for Apple iPhone of course, which runs its own SoC). This year, we already have Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ (the US version), Xiaomi Mi 6, Sony Xperia XZ Premium, and the coming OnePlus 5 and Nokia 9 handsets. ZTE Nubia Z17 has the latest SND 835 chipset as well. However, it is not the main selling point of this device!

ZTE Nubia Z17 specs are as follow: underneath is the latest SND 835 chipset as mentioned, coupled with 6GB of RAM for an impressive processing power. ZTE has hinted at another version with 8GB RAM as well. There is also 128GB of internal storage. We do not know for now if it is expandable, but it is likely. What’s more, this phone is the first to run SND 835 SoC with UFS 2.1 memory, with enhanced reading speed. It means that the phone works fast!

The battery capacity of the phone is unknown. This phone is the next bezel-less phone in the market. Being bezel-less with a curved display is currently the trend, and the new Nubia phone adds to the collection. As for Nubia Z17 camera, there is not much to know now, other than it has a dual camera set-up at the rear. The phone has Android 7.1.1 Nougat, the latest OS, out of the box. Overall, it is a phone worthy of being a flagship!
