It seems like Nubia is about to release a new model this month. The company has confirmed that the budget smartphone Nubia V18 is coming on March 22. Let’s see what this phone have to offer!
Nubia V18 specs and design
The Nubia V18 has been a mystery for a long time. And today is the first time that we have a glimpse of it through the company’s media invitation. We start with the words on the teaser saying 6” screen for a thousand bucks. With such a price tag the phone expects to be a decidedly low-end affair. From where we stand, the Nubia V18 will be made out of metal and thin bezels. There are chances that it will have a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, at least based on the previous Nubia devices.
We can also spot the name V18 on the teaser. Alongside with the confirmation, the smartphone will flaunt a 6-inch display. Perhaps, the screen comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 1080x2160p resolution. Additionally, the image suggests that the V18 will offer long battery life just like its brother Nubia N3 (5000mAh). Plus, the way Nubia writes the number 8 on the invitation indicates something more. Maybe there will be a dual-camera setup on the back or front of the V18 (or why not both). However, apart from these bits, nothing else is known about the upcoming smartphone at the moment.
On a side note, how about we look into the latest Nubia device. Unlike V18, it offers Qualcomm 625 chipset and 4GB RAM. There is 64GB of storage on board, which can further expand up to 128GB using microSD card. Lastly, the Nubia N3 comes in three variants – Obsidian Black, Space Gold, and Nebula Red with the price tag of $370 ~ Rs. 24,000.
