Recently, Nokia has joined the MWC event with some exciting news. In details, they have officially announced the launch of the two flagship Nokia 8 Sirocco and Nokia 7 Plus. Notably, Nokia 8 Sirocco specs sport a 5.5-inch P-OLED with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Under the hood, this Nokia flagship arrives with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset and 6GB RAM/128GB ROM. You can find out more details about this handset HERE.

On the other hand, we have Nokia 7 Plus as the first smartphone of HMD to come with a tall 18:9 ratio. Other Nokia 7 Plus specs include 6GB RAM, 64GB ROM with a 6-inch LCD (1260 x 1080 pixels). Besides, Nokia 7 Plus camera system offers a dual 12MP + 13MP rear sensor and a 16MP selfie shooter. On the other hand, Nokia also presented other mid-range and low-end phones to the audience, such as Nokia 6 (2018), Nokia 1 and Nokia 8110 4G.

With such a strong line-up, Nokia is undoubtedly trying to regain their fame. They are currently focusing more on big markets such as Europe, India, Indonesia, and Russia. Furthermore, the company claims to be in the Top 5 phone makers in 15 markets already. And for the future, Nokia roadmap reveals that they are now aiming to enter Top 5 smartphone makers. However, the US market doesn’t appeal to this Finnish brand. HMD Global‘s CEO, Florian Seiche, has confirmed that the new Nokia products aren’t heading to the US. “It’s not a core focus for this year, but certainly it is on our roadmap”.

Will the US appear on Nokia roadmap core focus in the future?
