Besides GeekBench, Genymotion is another cross-platform benchmark to evaluate the performance of phones. Yesterday, detailed configuration information of two Nokia’s new smartphone has leaked through this grading system application. For those who love Nokia brand, we are so close to see other two Nokia Android smartphones under the name of Nokia Ara and Nokia C2-00 PureView . These are two promising mid-range smartphones.

Smartphone manufacturers often use the scoring tool to test system performance of their products and so does Nokia. Specifically, the two devices code named Nokia Ara and Nokia C2-00 PureView seem to belong to mid-range segment because of their low configuration limitations. To this point, there are just a few specs that are revealed. Nokia Ara is quite similar to Nokia Pixel. The machine boasts a 1.19 GHz Snapdragon 200 chipset, Adreno 302 GPU, 1 GB RAM. But Ara runs on Android 5.1.1 instead of Android 7.0 like Nokia Pixel.

On the other hand, Nokia C2-00 PureView is better equipped with Intel Pentium G3220 chipset which owns a mononuclear speed at 2.99 GHz. Nokia C2-00 sports 1.5GB RAM and runs Android 6.0. Regarding performance evaluation, the single core and multiple-core that Nokia C2-00 PureView scores are 2523 and 2428, respectively. While Nokia Ara only gets 400 and 665 score in those two tests.

Nokia mid-range phones: availability and price

After some leaked specs about the new Nokia’s flagship which will have a 5.2 inch or 5.5 inch screen with a Carl Zeiss lens and Snapdragon 820 chipset, now we are going to see 2 new Nokia mid-range smartphones. Those two phones are predicted to cost about $130 and $289, which means Nokia Ara is just a half of Nokia C2-00 PureView. Nokia is expected to launch its two new smartphones at Mobile World Congress MWC in Barcelona, Spain in February, 2017.
