Nokia E1 phone is finally coming in August: 4GB RAM, 20MP, SnD 821

After announcing its comeback last year, Nokia has been among the most anticipated brands in the smartphone industry. The Finnish company, with the help of HMD, introduced new smartphones at the MWC event earlier this year and promised more to come. Recently, we have heard of Nokia flagships like Nokia 7, 8, 9. Now, we have information regarding a more moderate addition, the Nokia E1 phone. Let’s see what this phone offers!

Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm SND 821 chipset with Quad-core (Dual-core 2.15 GHz Kryo plus Dual-core 1.6 GHz Kryo) CPU and Adreno 530 GPU. Although not the latest SoC, this SND processor is also quite powerful itself. Accompanying that is 4GB of RAM, boosting power up even more. There is also 64GB of internal storage, with the option to expand it by up to 256GB via microSD card. Its battery capacity is 2700mAh, decent for a full day’s use.

Outside, Nokia E1 sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels (Full HD). Nokia E1 camera is great: there is a 20MP lens at the rear to serve as the primary shooter, with phase detection autofocus and LED flash. Up front is a 5MP lens for shooting selfies. The phone comes with Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box. Overall, it is a decent phone, just a little below flagship tier!
