Nokia coming back: confirming evidences
Nokia coming back next year in February 2017 has been recently proved not only on Twitter of Rajeev Suri- CEO of Nokia, but also in the slide presented in Nokia’s Capital Market Day held on November 15 in Barcelona, Spain. The leaked slide above has confirmed Nokia coming back in 2017 to the market as a smartphone brand. Now, we have more information that this Finnish mobile phone brand will launch its first smartphone at Mobile World Congress 2027 (MWC 2017).
HMD Global, which owns and has the right to manufacture and trade under the brand Nokia smartphone in the next 10 years, has confirmed its attendance at MWC 2017. This event is expected to open on February 27, 2017. As you can see below, HMD company has already got a booth at MWC 2017 to launch a number of mobile phones, which will be labelled Nokia smartphones.
Definitely we will have some Nokia brand smartphones. However, some users say that Nokia is just a name while the phones’ developed software and hardware components are totally made by HMD Global company. Anyway, they still pose some innovative technologies from Nokia, such as 5G network and durable materials. Those with Android Nougat OS will brings us some remarkable handsets and hopefully they will be as successful as Nokia phones of the 90s.
Nokia coming back with Nokia D1C
Nokia hasn’t announced which phone will be on their shelf at MWC 2017 but it is most likely to be Nokia D1C due to the its appearance on Antutu Benchmark long time ago. The device wii run on Android 7.0 Nougat. As for the specs, it boasts 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 430 chipset with 3 GB RAM and 16GB or 32GB ROM.
