Nokia 8110 4G review hands-on
Say hello to the very yellow (also available in black) Nokia 8110 4G, which launched alongside a number of Nokia Android smartphones at MWC 2018. We now have the second instalment in which HMD Global calls the ‘Nokia Originals’ series. In details, Nokia 8110 4G is the successor of new Nokia 3110 4G released not long ago. Besides, users need to manually pull the keypad cover down just like the original 8110 in 1996.
The cover wakes the screen when sliding down, and turns it off when returned to its closed position. In addition, pressing the power key on the right side can illuminate the screen with the cover-up. Moreover, the Nokia 8110 4G packs a 1,500mAh battery (up to 25 days on standby and an 8.5 hour LTE voice call on a single charge). Besides, there is an updated version of Snake and some confirmed apps are Facebook, Twitter, Google Maps and Google Assistant are shipped with this device.
Regarding Nokia 8110 4G specs, the device sports a 2.4-inch QVGA (160 x 120 pixels) display. The screen is fine for reading texts and viewing basic images and games, but not works of art or movies. This handset also features a headphone jack and FM radio app and a 2MP rear snapper with a single LED flash (first appeared in Original series). Meanwhile, there is no front-facing option. You also get a Qualcomm 205 chipset, 512MB RAM and 4GB ROM. The interesting part is the availability of 4G connectivity and a WiFi hotspot that your phone, tablet or laptop can connect.

Nokia 8110 4G price is a around $100 ~ Rs. 6,506. However, this phone is more expensive than the 3310 reboot for the design (a distinctive banana-like curve and sliding section).
