Out of the two, the Nokia 8 Sirocco is the latest release from HMD Global to debut at MWC 2018 event. The Nokia 8 is pretty standard fare for a mid-to-upper tier smartphone with a 5.3-inch LCD screen (16:9, 1440 x 2560 resolution) framed by top and bottom bezels. Meanwhile, Nokia 8 Sirocco upgrades to a slightly larger 5.5-inch P-OLED display, with similar resolution and ratio as Nokia 8. One point goes to Nokia 8 Sirocco!

About the configuration, the two devices almost have the same specs figures. To be specific, they both have Snapdragon 835 chipset, Adreno 540 GPU, 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. However, Nokia 8 Sirocco offers fingerprint sensor and Android 8.0 OS. While Nokia 8 is a dual-SIM smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 software. Another difference is the juice box: 3260mAh for Sirocco and 3000mAh for Nokia 8. One more point belongs to the Nokia 8 Sirocco!

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Nokia 8 packs a 13MP rear cam and a 13MP front shooter for selfies. On the other hand, Nokia 8 Sirocco sports a dual-camera system at the rear with a 12MP primary camera and ZEISS optics. The front-facing 5MP selfie shooter also has a wide-angle (84-degree) lens. So regarding capturing quality, we have to give another point for Nokia 8 Sirocco.

Nokia 8 smartphone was put on to sale in August 2017 at the cost of $430~Rs. 27,999. For the Nokia 8 Sirocco, the release date is set in early April 2018 with a bigger price tag of $923~Rs. 60,000.
