HMD confirms Face Unlock feature for four Nokia phones!
Face Unlock feature is becoming one of the trends in the mobile world. Now, HMD Global started rolling out an OTA update for select Nokia phones in the coming months. They include Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 6 (2018), and Nokia 8. With the new update, these phones might support the Face Unlock feature. As a result, this makes the company one of the first manufacturers to have promised such an ambitious update rollout.
“Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus, and the new Nokia 6, as well as the Nokia 8, will get Face Unlock as an OTA update in the coming months,” the official Nokia Mobile Twitter account said. On the other hand, these phones might use the front-facing lens, image signal processor, and the CPU to enable the new feature. Alongside the new Face Unlock feature, these Nokia phones also come with a fingerprint sensor for security.
