After the release of Android 8.0 Oreo for the Nokia 8, the company is pushing out the beta version of the newer Android 8.1. Additionally, based on the latest news, Juho Sarvikas, HMD Global’s Chief Product Officer, has announced that the beta version of Android 8.1 Oreo is now available for Nokia 8. If you want to update your device, you need to follow similar steps to go to Beta Labs and enrol.
Furthermore, Android 8.1 Oreo comes in at 1.55GB and offers some news specs. They are a battery readout, new reboot animations (a new power off/ restart menu), more apps to get picture-in-picture mode,… Besides that, the update Android Oreo beta also brings all the highlights of the Android 8.0 Oreo like Android Instant Apps, faster load times, better RAM and battery management and redesigned the set of emojis.
