At their first IFA show this year, HMD Global has presented their next Android mid-range handsets under the new names Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 6.2. Notably, the 7.2 model can serve as a ‘soft’ Pro version of the latter with the better camera system and chipset. Today, let’s put this handset on the spotlight! In details, the smartphone is the next device after the Nokia X71 to pack triple rear sensors. Let’s find out more about these features below!
The main lens is the large 1/2” sensor with 48MP resolution. Moreover. the Finnish brand included the image processing magic to ensure great image quality – pixel binning is combined with image fusion and stacking. Besides, the second camera is an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter and the last is the 5MP depth sensor enables some ZEISS-branded effects, namely three bokeh styles – Modern, Swirl and Smooth.
On the front, the Nokia 7.2 camera sports a decent 20MP selfie lens which utilizes 4-in-1 pixel binning to enhance image quality. Furthermore, the Nokia device packs a large notched 6.3” LCD display with 1080p+ resolution. Under the hood, the handset runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset. As for the storage, the Nokia device offers 4/6GB RAM and 64/128GB storage (eMMC). Additionally, its card slot can hold two SIMs and a microSD card up to 512GB. The phone also runs Android 9 Pie out of the box and has a great 3,500mAh battery with standard 10W charging over USB-C. Finally, the other wired connector is a 3.5mm headphone jack. You could use Bluetooth with aptX if you want to go wireless.

Nokia 7.2The Nokia phone is going to be available at the end of September this year. As for the cost, the Nokia 7.2 price should start at €300 for the 4/65GB model. There are three color options: Cyan Green, Charcoal and Ice.
