After the success of the Nokia 5.1 Plus and Nokia 6.1 Plus, HMD Global has been getting ready to introduce a brand new member to their Nokia X series dubbed Nokia 7.1 Plus. Moreover, it seems like we won’t be waiting for much longer. Today, HMD PR Team has sent out the official invitation for the Android One-powered Nokia 7.1 Plus launching event. Previously, the leaked images of the Nokia mobile also made its way online on China Baidu website.

In details, the images reveal that the Nokia phone has a metal chassis between two glass slabs and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Moreover, the Nokia device also passed the TENNA certification revealing all the specifications. As expected, Nokia 7.1 Plus specs include a 6.18-inch notched display with Full HD+ and an aspect ratio of 19:9. Besides, the Nokia smartphone is backed by a 3300mAh battery with support for up to 18W charging.

Photography-wise, the Nokia 7.1 Plus camera sports a 16MP+12MP dual rear cameras and a 20MP frontal imaging unit. Regarding the hardware, the device takes power from an octa-core Snapdragon 710 chipset clocked at 2.2GHz. On the other side, the storage is likely to be available in two storage variants: 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB. Furthermore, the memory is allowed expanding further up to 400GB via microSD card. Whereas, the device runs on Android Oreo 8.1 as HMD Global sign up the device for Android One Program. Also, the software system is upgradable to Android Pie.

Furthermore, HMD Global has sent press invitations for a Nokia announcement event on October 11 as the 7.1 Plus is around the corner.
