Nokia 6.1 Plus gets “hide notch” option with Android 9.0 Pie update!

Last year, Apple announced its iPhone X with a notched screen, and since then, some Android phone makers have been bringing the notched display. However, if you aren’t interested in the notch, you can able to hide it on the Nokia 6.1 Plus. In the new update of Android 9.0 Pie for the 6.1 Plus, HMD Global has added a new option to hide the notch of this phone. To hide the notch, users might have to enable Developer Options by going Settings -> About Phone -> Scroll down to System section to look for build number.

Besides that, tap on the build number seven timed can enable Developer options. Now, users can go into Developer option and find the “full Bezel” option here. How about the Nokia 6.1 Plus specs? Speaking of the display, the Nokia device has a 5.8-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels and a 19:9 ratio. Powering this device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset, paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM (expandable up to 400GB). On the other hand, the Nokia smartphone packs a non-removable Li-Ion 3060mAh juice box with Quick Charge 3.0.
