Nokia 5.1 and Nokia 3.1 official launch
After the Nokia 2.1 aka Nokia 2 (2018), HMD unveiled another upgraded duo which is part of the entry-level and mid-range smartphones. We present to you the Nokia 5.1 and Nokia 3. Both of them run on Android One base and will receive 2-year software updates 3-year security updates. That’s a pretty good deal for such budget-friendly devices. Regarding Nokia 5.1 specs, the device offers a 5.5-inch IPS LCD with 18:9 aspect ratio and 1080 x 2160p resolution.
Under the hood, Nokia handset features MediaTek Helio P18 chipset at the core, alongside 2GB or 3GB RAM with 16GB or 32GB ROM (expandable to 128GB). Notably, Nokia 5.1 camera has a new 16MP lens on its back with Phase detection AF and a dual-tone flash. The selfie camera has an 8 MP sensor and an 84.6° lens. Also, there is a 2970mAh energy box, 3.5mm audio jack, expected Wi-Fi and Bluetooth goodies.
On the other hand, the new Nokia 3.1 might pack a 5.02-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. In addition, the upcoming Nokia device is going to take power from the MediaTek MT6750 chipset. Besides, this phone also offers two storage options: 2GB or 3GB RAM with 16GB or 32GB ROM (expandable to 128GB). Photography-wise, Nokia 3.1 camera equips a single 13MP rear sensor and an 8MP selfie shooter with 84.6° lens. In terms of the capacity, the Nokia 3.1 battery rocks a non-removable Li-Ion 2990mAh juice box.
