Today, the FCC finally published the certification documents for a new Nokia phone with the codename TA-1159. According to our source, this handset can be the Nokia 3.2, a better upgrade model of the Nokia 3.1. Previously, HMD Global has introduced this handset at the MWC 2019 event last February. Regarding the design, the new 3.2 variant comes with a bigger 6.26-inch HD screen (720 x 1520 pixels, 19:9 ratio).
Furthermore, it packs a “selfie notch” that looks better than the standard notch on its predecessor. Besides, the new Nokia 3 finally switched to Snapdragon, by featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 chipset. Furthermore, the Nokia device also offers different storage options: 32 GB, 3 RAM or 16 GB, 2 GB RAM (with microSD card which can expand up to 400 GB). Additionally, the Nokia smartphone also runs on Android 9.0 (Pie); Android One program.
Moreover, one of the most interesting features the new Nokia device has is face unlock. Meanwhile, the 32GB version also has a fingerprint sensor. On the other hand, the Nokia 3.2 camera system includes a 13 MP (f/2.2, 1/3″, 1.12µm, AF) rear snapper and a 5 MP (f/2.2, 27mm (wide), 1.12µm) selfie lens up front. The Nokia phone also has FM Radio, Bluetooth 4.2 and Qualcomm’s aptX sound technology. The new version of Nokia 3 is going to hit the store in May 2019 for different markets! As for the cost, Nokia 3.2 price reportedly start at 139USD (122 euro) for the 2/16GB variant and 169USD (149 euro) for the 3/32GB variant. Lastly, it is going to be available in Black and Steel.
