Nokia 3.1 Plus unveiled in India
As mentioned above, HMD Global is set to launch the new version of its budget device. In details, the smartphone belongs to the entry-level segment and becomes a member of Android One program, dubbed as Nokia 3.1 Plus. According to our legit source, Nokia 3.1 Plus specs include a roomy 6.0” screen, which is kind of impressive among the segment. Besides, this display is more extensive than Nokia 5 and Nokia 6.1 Plus.
Moreover, the Plus variant comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 720 x 1,440 pixels. However, the new model does not come with a notch. On the other side, the Nokia device offers dual camera photography, a fingerprint reader and a larger battery than its sibling, the Nokia 3.1. Whereas, the device chassis is built out of machined aluminium combined with a die-cast metal interior for enhanced durability.
Meanwhile, the rear houses a dual camera of the 13MP (f/2.0) +5MP depth sensor, alongside bokeh effects. Also, Nokia 3.1 Plus camera includes an 8MP selfie shooter. Furthermore, there arrives a fingerprint reader, which is the first to appear in HMD’s entry-level lineup. Under the hood, Nokia handset takes power from a faster chipset dubbed as a MediaTek Helio P22 with eight cores of the Cortex-A53 processor. Besides, the RAM and storage capacities are 2/16GB and 3/32GB, plus a microSD slot for up to 400GB more. Whereas, the phone runs Android One (can be updated to Pie) with a 3500mAh battery box.
Nokia 3.1 Plus release date and price
Previously, Nokia 3.1 handset that was launched in May 2018. As expected, the new Nokia 3.1 Plus was unveiled by HMD Global today, on October 11. In details, Nokia 3.1 Plus price is available at INR 11,500 for the standard 2GB RAM + 16GB of internal expandable storage. However, the price for the other 3GB RAM variant has not been revealed yet. Also, the first sale of the handset slated for October 19 with three colors: Blue, Baltic and White.
