While 2018 is ending soon, HMD Global is still running strong. This November, the Finnish brand continued to unveil another addition to their entrance-level smartphone series. In details, this new handset (dubbed Nokia 3.1 Plus) is the upgraded version of the previously launched Nokia 3.1 device. Regarding the design, the new Nokia phone keeps the aluminium back panel with a soft finish that provides it with an elegant look.
In the middle, we can spot the dual camera module (vertically-oriented) in the middle at the back, along with an LED flash with a fingerprint sensor and Nokia branding. Moreover, the handset also comes with a separate slot for the secondary SIM card and the microSD card. On top of it, there is still the 3.5mm audio jack. At the bottom, you can find a micro-USB charging port placed in the middle, next to the speaker.
Regarding the Nokia 3.1 Plus specs, the Nokia phone equips a 6-inch HD+ panel on the phone features an 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it runs on the Helio P22 system-on-ship, tagged along with 3GB RAM. There is also 6GB/ 32GB of internal storage. Additionally, there is a MicroSD card that can expand up to 400GB. Regarding the photography system, Nokia 3.1 Plus camera packs a dual 13MP (f/2.0 aperture) + 5MP (f/2.4) sensors on the back. On the flip side, users get an 8MP front shooter with f/2.2 aperture. As for the software, the Nokia 3.1 Plus runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. Finally, the new Nokia device packs a large 3,500mAh battery.
