Surprising as it may sound, Microsoft has just announced their very last Nokia-branded phone earlier today. The phone is called Nokia 216 Dual SIM, a feature phone for a $37 price tag.

Back in May this year, Microsoft had handed over its feature phone business to Foxconn, and even fired nearly 2,000 Nokia workers. Those movements had us believe that Microsoft was not about to produce any more phone under the name of Nokia. Yet, that being said, today the company introduced their latest and final feature phone in India. The phone offers dual SIM slots, dual LED flash, and an endurable battery life.
In terms of Nokia 216 Dual SIM display, we have a 2.4 inch QVGA LCD screen of 240×320 pixels, just enough for texting and making phone calls. Considering Nokia 216 Dual SIM camera, the machine has a 0.3 mp camera for both rear and selfie shooters. One interesting thing about this phone is that both cameras is equipped with a LED flash to shoot better under low light conditions.
Nokia 216 Dual SIM runs on Nokia Series 30+ operating system and can have an expandable memory of up to 32GB ROM with a microSD card. The handset is backed by a 1020 mAH battery, which is slightly smaller than the 1200 mAH cell of Nokia 230 Dual. Microsoft claimed that this new model can work up to 19h of standby and a consecutive 18h talk time. Besides all of those, Nokia 216 Dual also supports microUSB, 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as Bluetooth connectivity

Nokia 216 Dual SIM is a tiny device that measures only 3.5mm thick and 83 grams “heavy”. The phone will be available to buy in India starting October 24 with 3 colors options: Black, grey and blue.
