It looks like the original Nokia 2 doesn’t get just one upgraded operating system alone. Recently, HMD Global has decided to launch the new version of it that comes with some specs improvements. We proudly present you the Nokia 2.1, or some would say Nokia 2 (2018)! This new Nokia 2.1 moves from being a conventional device to joining the Nokia 1 as an Android Go base phone. Besides, the phone got a redesign and now looks more premium.

Just like the Nokia 6.1, this phone has that copper coloured metal line that runs around the frame of the phone. As for Nokia 2 2018 specs, this handset comes with 5.5-inch LCD capacitive touchscreen with a 16:9 ratio and 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. Above and beneath the display are front-facing stereo speakers which guarantees an impressive audio experience. Plus, the screen covers with an anti-fingerprint coating.

Under the hood, the Nokia phone takes power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset; coupled with 1GB. In terms of storage, it has 8GB ROM and an extendable 128GB via microSD. On top of that, Nokia 2.1 camera sports an 8MP primary snapper with autofocus and LED flash. There is also a 5MP shooter up-front, basically the same setup as the original model. In addition, the handset comes with a non-removable Li-Ion 4000mAh battery which the company says should last up to 2 days. The Micro USB port has also been replaced with a USB-C port.
