Nintendo 3DS Phone: sliding screens, 8GB RAM, Triple Cam and more!

Behold another gaming smartphone! We present to you, the sliding Nintendo 3DS Phone, coming with 8GB RAM, triple Cam and Nintendo’s classic game buttons. Keep reading for more details!

Nintendo 3DS Phone design

When the gaming smartphones trend has become more and more popular, it’s no harm to dream about a Nintendo inspired smartphone. Thus, designer Jacob Estep came up with such a concept – Nintendo 3DS Phone. Now let’s take a look at the render pictures. At first sight, the back of the phone feels like those triple camera iPhone concepts and the facade also has some iPhone infused vibes. The earpiece is very well hidden, perhaps in the top aspect of the phone or on the screen itself.

Seeing how there are also some dots at the bottom, it’s probably a dual speaker slit top and bottom. Once you slide the screen over you will see a smaller second screen for game interaction. There’s a singular thumbstick, a D-Pad, action buttons and an extra button above it. We imagine some new Zelda game would be part of the package, or it wouldn’t be Nintendo at its finest. The device is also able to slide vertically, to reveal a front camera with LED flash.

Nintendo 3DS Phone specs pack a large 6-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. Besides, the Nintendo gaming device gets power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. Moreover, the storage goes along with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage (no card slot). Meanwhile, this phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and packs a non-removable Li-Ion 4000mAh juice box. Also, Nintendo 3DS Phone camera system features a dual 13MP + 8MP + 5MP rear sensor with some AR capabilities. Besides, the front-facing equips a single 5MP lens for the selfies.
