Nexus 6P hardware issue reported: bootloop
After updated to Android Nougat OS, many problems of Nexus 6P have been reported. Among them, there are bootloop issue that is showed out recently. Let’s read on and see what really happened.
Nexus 6P bootloop issue
Back in September 2015, Huawei and Google cooperated to produce Nexus 6P. At that time, the phone was a pride of both companies thanks to its powerful specs yet affordable price tag. However, nothing is flawless, the phone has show some drawbacks as time passed. So far, there were many issues with the Nexus 6P have been reported such as battery failure.
Recently, there are some cases have been reported about their Nexus 6P bootloop issue. These cases have one thing in common, the problem showed out after updated the operating system to Android Nougat. Their smartphones were frozen at the point of the Google logo. The symptom was over just after the battery drained out completely. To address the issue, some users even tried to re-flash image gallery and wipe data. Yet, the problem was still not solved.
Some users supposed that it is the software that cause the bootloop issues. However, according to the symptoms and Google developer, it is high possibility that there must be something wrong with hardware which in turn cause bootloop issue, rather than software related issue. It is suggested that get RMA is the only way to fix the problem now. Otherwise, users have to get a replacement. Google has not come up with any specific solutions to solve the bootloop problem as well as the cause of it.
