New Xperia X performance spotted on GFX Bench, coming with 12MP selfie cam
New smartphone specs from Sony have just shown up on GFX Bench. And it could be a new Xperia X model of the series. With SND 820 and 21MP main + 12MP front cam, this phone can be the tough rival of Galaxy S7 Edge.
New Xperia X comes with 12MP +21MP camera
At MWC 2016 on 22 February, Sony introduced the world to its new lineup- X. And this meant that this new series would replace the position of Xperia Z. The X series includes 2 smartphones: Xperia X and the Xperia XA. These two phones brought a new fresh air to Sony’s products. It’s just like a brand new vision for this Japanese company. And now, Sony seems to release another Xperia X smartphone.
Recently, specs of a model have just shown up on GFX Bench. And this model is named Sony F8331. This phone is believed to be the third smartphone in the X series. In terms of the new Xperia X specs, it will be powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor. To ensure the performance, Sony will add a 3GB RAM along with a 20GB inbuilt storage. Sony new phone will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
Sony is famous for the camera smartphone. So, if you’re a photography lover, there’s no need to worry about the new the handset’s camera. It will sport a 21MP camera on the back and a 12MP snapper on the front of the phone. Both cameras come with 4K recording. Besides, the device also has a 5.1-icnh display with the resolution of 1080 x1920 px.
New Xperia X: a new flagship of Sony?
This new phone on the benchmark has the number of “F8331”. Look back to the two smartphones of X lineup, you will see the Xperia X owns the code of “F8131” for the standard model and “F8132” for the unlocked version. The number of the new phone is pretty close to those number. So, it may be true that this smartphone is the next member of the X series. And it could probably be the flagship of the company.
