In December 2015, the Chinese company introduced the Vivo Y51 with Snapdragon 410 SoC. Previously, this company revealed Vivo Y50 in April. However, it launched the new Y51 in September this year, which came with the Snapdragon 665 chipset and 48MP quad-camera. And now, the company has announced another smartphone with the Vivo Y51 moniker, but it has a different design and interior.
For starters, the Vivo Y51 specs offer a 6.58-inch IPS LCD panel + resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels, which is 0.2″ bigger than the Vivo Y51’s AMOLED screen debuted in September. Furthermore, the new Vivo Y51 camera setup rocks a 48MP primary lens + 8MP ultrawide shooter + 2MP macro sensor. The new Vivo Y51 arrives with a 5,000 mAh energy box that supports 18W charging and a USB-C port. Moreover, instead of the in-display fingerprint scanner, a new Vivo device comes with a side-mounted reader. Speaking of the storage system, the Vivo flagship is now packing 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. On the other side, the Vivo smartphone also boots Android 11-based Funtouch OS 11. Furthermore, the Vivo monster adds features such as Super Night Selfie, Super Night Mode, Ultra Stable Video, Audio Booster, and Multi-Turbo 3.0.
Vivo Y51 release date and price
