New Turing smartphone: Ultra-strong, ultra-secure opens for reorder on July 31.
Turing Robotic Industries, or TRI, has just developed a smartphone made of liquid metal. The base model, which has 16 GB of storage, will cost $610 and is said to be stronger than steel. Turing will open up for pre-order of the device by the end of July.
“The Turing Phone is a revolutionary liquid-metal phone that not only redefines phone engineering, it also paves the way for trustworthy communication,” says TRI on its website.
Turing smartphone: stronger than steel
There are several features that make this Turing smartphone truly a flagship of the future. First of all is the innovative “Liquidmoprhium” frame making it very shock-resistant. Next, the Turning smartphone also has an IPx8 waterproof rating, which allows the device to go under water for as deep as 30 feet (>9 meters). Besides that, the phone has a security system especially developed by TRI to make every communication made via this phone more secure and safe from third party intrusions.
Turing smartphone specs: great but not super impressive
The unique features above are pretty impressive and brilliant, aren’t they? If you are wondering which Turning smartphone specs will be packed, it goes with a great combination as well. Some of the Turning smartphone specs we know up to now are Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 13MP and 8MP cameras, Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and a popular 5.5” display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.
