New smaller screen of Asus Zenfone 2 – 5″ version
With a good influence from Asus and Intel brands, good configuration, good design as well as a suitable price, Asus Zenfone made good impression to users even before its official release. Asus Zenfone 2 as well as Asus Zenfone Zoom are now absolutely the most awaited phone in Philippines. After official launch ealier this month, two both 5.5″ Android smartphones paid too much attention.
In case you find 5.5″ screen might too big for you, it seems that the Taiwanese company Asus will reportedly introduce a smaller version – featuring 5″ display, thought the same can’t be happened to the Zenfone Zoom.
Therefore, the new smaller Zenfone 2 will be featured 5″ and we expected to see this phone with some specs are similar to the 5.5 variant, such as: Android 5.0 Lollipop with Zen UI, LTE connectivity, 13 MP rear camera, 5 MP front-facing camera, and a quad-core 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 processor. We are not for sure if the new 5 phone is be supported 4GB of RAM or not.
As you apparently know, the 5.5 inch Zenfone 2 will be priced from 199 USD for 2GB version. So, it means that we have right to looking forward a lower price for its new 5″ phone.
The 5.5″ Zenfone 2 will reportedly hit shelves from March in local market. According to Taiwanese website Sogi, its new 5″ device could be closely announced after the first batch of 5.5″ Zenfone 2 handset.
In 2014, Asus unveiled three different versions: Zenfone 4, Zenfone 5, Zenfone 6 with 4″, 5″, 6″ screen size respectively and they were successful with its strategy. So, if Asus build the same plan in this year, it’s not too much surprised for us.
No official words for its price and also some spy pics. But, it might be a good news. And we’ll dig much information in attempt to update more.
