Mystery Nokia Smartphones Spotted Online

With the new year’s fast approaching, it seems like HMD Global is getting ready for many smartphone launches for 2019! Previously, we have finally received the confirmation of the arrival of the high-end Nokia 9 PureView. On the other hand, we spotted up to three new Nokia smartphone variants in the EEC official certification agency’s website. For now, these Nokia phone variants carry the names: TA-1130, TA-1156 and TA-1157. Furthermore, HMD received the certification for them on December 19. Besides, the TA-1139, handset which we had reported about previously has also been re-certified.

In case you didn’t know, HMD Global and Nokia have been testing quite a few of its Android One smartphones. Moreover, these handsets have been making their way through multiple certifying agencies. Some of them include the FCC, EEC, TENNA, Bluetooth SIG, etc. However, this is the first time the two Nokia TA-1156, TA-1157 models make their way online. As a result, it is a little difficult to confirm the names these Nokia devices are going to have when HMD Global launches them. On the other hand, many Nokia fans suspect that these three new phones can belong in the mid-range series of the company.

According to what we gathered, it is quite likely that Nokia is readying a capable mid-range handset. Interestingly, the CES 2019 is going to be a significant event for this Finnish brand.
