Mysterious Vivo phone visits Geekbench!
The Chinese brand plans to host its launch event in Shanghai, China in June. At this event, the high-end Vivo APEX might be announced. Alongside the Vivo APEX, there is another Vivo handset. In addition, the mysterious Vivo phone appeared on the Geekbench. Moreover, this device also passes through the certification of the Eurasian Economic Commission in Europe and Ecomm in Malaysia.
As per the Geekbench, the new Vivo device comes with the model number 1808. On the other hand, the Vivo smartphone might get power from the unannounced MediaTek MT6765 chipset, similar to the Xiaomi Cactus and Cereus. In addition, the Vivo handset sports 3GB RAM and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo as the operating system. With these specs, this phone could be the midrange device.
Next, let’s take a look at the Vivo APEX which might be announced at the Shanghai event. In terms of the display, Vivo APEX specs pack a 5.99-inch Full HD+ OLED screen. In addition, Vivo APEX gets power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, along with 4GB/ 6GB RAM with 64GB/ 128GB of onboard storage (expandable up to 256GB). Besides that, Vivo APEX runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and rocks a non-removable 4000mAh juice box. Meanwhile, Vivo APEX camera system equips a 24MP rear sensor and an 8MP selfie lens.
