As promised last week, Motorola P30 was unveiled today. Yesterday, the handset was listed on the official Moto website and is available for pre-order from today. Since Motorola is a subsidiary of Lenovo, they decided to equip the ZUI 4.0 on top of the Android Oreo 8.0. In details, the user interface was introduced with the now discontinued ZUK smartphones and later resurrected with the Lenovo Z5.

On the other side, the phone is currently in China. Thus, it comes without Google services. Meanwhile, it will be presented later on the global scene, eventually at IFA Berlin. Concerning the design, the Motorola phone arrives with USB-C port on the bottom and the 3.5 mm audio jack. Also, there exists a fingerprint scanner in the centre of the back panel, marked with the Moto logo.

Regarding Motorola P30 specs, the handset arrives with 6.2” IPS LCD panel and Full HD+ resolution. Moreover, there is a notch on top for a taller screen and extending ratio of 19:9. Under the hood, the P30 arrives with an octa-core 1.8 GHz Snapdragon 636 chipset with Adreno 509 GPU. Whereas, the phone storage coupled with 6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB ROM. Also, there is also a microSD slot indeed. Speaking of Motorola P30 camera, the dual sensor might copy Apple’s iPhone X in design, with 16MP (f/1.8) + 5MP (f/2.2) lenses developed by OmniVision. The photography system has PDAF, 1080p video shooting, Bokeh mode, dual-tone LED flash and offers background blur. Whereas, other features include a 12MP selfie shooter (f/2.0) and a 3,000 mAh battery (18W fast charging).

At the moment, the phone currently has two price tags for the two storage options, alongside three colours available – Ice White, Bright Black, and Aurora Blue. In details, Motorola P30 price for the 6/64GB variant is CNY1,999 (~ $289/€255). Meanwhile, the version with 128GB storage is CNY2,099, or $303/€268.
