The company’s upcoming Moto Z3 Play has been subject to a lot of leaks over the past few weeks, and it appears that the device is ready for launching. Motorola has started sending out press invitations for the event on June 6th in Brazil. Although the teaser doesn’t give away any details about the device, it’s not shocking to predict what smartphone will launch. The company has already released its Moto E5 and G6 series of smartphones.
So far in 2018, the company has not launched an iteration of its highly popular Moto Z series. The Moto Z3 Play is the first in line to present, with a flagship Moto Z device expected to launch in the fourth quarter of 2018. Now let’s take a look at its specs! The Motorola Moto Z3 Play specs offer a large 6-inch Super AMOLED with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels.
Regarding the optics department, the Moto Z3 Play camera system packs a dual 12MP + 8MP snapper on the back with phase detection and laser autofocus, dual-LED dual-tone flash. Meanwhile, the front-facing lens sports a single 5MP shooter with an aperture of f/2.0 for the selfies. According to the internal document of XDA Developers, the upcoming Moto’s premium mid-range device might get power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset as the processor, along with 4GB RAM and two ROM options: 32GB/ 64GB which is expandable up to 256GB. On top of that, the Moto Z3 Play battery rocks a non-removable Li-Ion 3000mAh juice box. Under the hood, this phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo.
