With the new year’s fast approaching, Motorola is reportedly working on the release of their next smartphone series. According to the latest report, the US brand is planning to introduce the next generation of their Moto G series soon. In details, the Motorola Moto G7 series is going to include up to three variants. There are the standard model, the higher Moto G7 Plus and one more affordable handset with lower specs. Today, this new Moto handset made its appearance on the FCC website with the full glory!
Regarding the name, this phone is going to debut as the Motorola Moto G7 Play. Regarding the display, the handset seems to adopt the notch design on the main screen. Meanwhile, there is a single camera lens on the back. On top of it, we spot a USB-C port, headphone jack, and microSD card slot. As for the back panel design, Motorola is keeping the standard logo right below the fingerprint reader. For Motorola Motor G7 Play specs, the handset can arrive with a 5.7 inch IPS LCD (1440 x 720 px resolution).
Furthermore, the smartphone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chipset. Regarding the storage, there is either 2GB or 3GB of RAM and either 16GB or 32GB of onboard storage. Furthermore, the memory is also expandable via microSD card which will use the second SIM slot. Also, the handset equips a 2,820 mAh battery which charges via micro USB port with 10W charging. Meanwhile, Motorola Moto G7 Play camera includes a rear 16MP sensor (f/2.0) and a dual 8MP selfie snappers. Finally, the Moto G7 Play is going to run on Android 9.0 Pie operating system.
