Based on the latest updates, Motorola has launched a “Play” variant in the Moto G series after the Moto G4 Play in early-2016. Today, the more affordable of the two smartphones launched. Among them, the Moto G6 Play does not have the same all-glass design but features an HD+ display. In details, the smartphone has a 5.7 inch IPS LCD with a 1440 x 720 px resolution.

On the other hand, the USP of Motorola’s “Play” models has been the battery performance. As far as it concerns, the handset features a massive 4000mAh battery. Similar to the G6, the G6 Play also has an 18:9 aspect ratio and thin bezels. Furthermore, Motorola chose not to give in to the notch trend that some would appreciate that. Also, the 18:9 aspect ratio comes with a 75.2% screen-to-body ratio.

Under the hood, the Motorola Moto G6 Play specs include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 chipset with four 1.4GHz Cortex A53 Cores (28nm). Moreover, the storage shares either 2GB or 3GB of RAM and either 16GB or 32GB of onboard storage. Furthermore, the memory is also expandable via microSD card which will use the second SIM slot. Also, the handset powers a 4000mAh battery which charges via micro USB port with 10W charging. Whereas, Motorola Moto G6 Play camera includes a rear 13MP camera (f/2.0) and a 5MP selfie snapper.
