Moto E5 Play global variant
So far, Motorola has launched three smartphones under its budget line Moto E5. For starter, the Moto E5 and E5 Plus both debuted in India earlier this month, while the company still kept the Moto E5 Play exclusive to the US market. However, today, this model has appeared on Taiwanese Certification’s site – NCC, hinting at a Moto E5 Play global launch soon. On the other hand, the Motorola phone full name is Motorola Moto E5 Play Android Go Edition. What a mouthful! As we’ve known, the Android Go Edition is based on Android Oreo Go, which allows the OS to run on ultra low-end hardware. As a result, they can bring down the price of the device. In compared to the standard E5 Play, the Android Go Edition has a slightly bigger, yet cheaper display, less RAM and smaller battery. Motorola Moto E5 Play panel is 5.84-inch in diagonal with 480 x 854 pixels resolution (16:9 aspect ratio).
On top of that, the Motorola Moto E5 Play specs also include 1GB of RAM and 16GB storage. There is also a microSD card which can expand up to 256GB. Moreover, the Motorola phone also equips a 2,100 mAh battery box. Under the hood, the Motorola device runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset. Besides, Motorola Moto E5 Play camera sports an 8MP primary camera and 5MP front one.
