Not long ago, the Motorola Moto G6 has just been unveiled in China with the same core but under a different name – Moto 1S. In general, the primary reason for the change is likely the launcher. In details, the Moto 1S works on the custom ZUI 3.5 based on Android 8.0 Oreo instead of the stock Android experience of the G6. Besides, the rest of specs remains unchanged.
While Motorola is the Lenovo-owned brand, this brand still comes up with budget devices and improvements so far with latest Motorola Moto G6 (known as Moto 1S in China). In details, Motorola Moto 1S specs include a 5.7-inch IPS LCD screen with 1080 x 2160 pixels and 18:9 ratio. Besides, the Motorola device works on two different OS depending on the market.
In details, the Moto 1S (China variant) comes with Android Oreo-based on ZUI 3.5. Meanwhile, the Moto G6 work on the stock Android platform (same version) without custom OS on top. Under the hood, the Motorola China variant sports 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset, aided by 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM, expandable to 256GB via microSD. Besides, there is also a 3,000 mAh battery with fast charging support is at hand. Whereas, the new P2i nano-coating protects the internals from accidental water damage. Furthermore, Motorola Moto 1S camera seems the same with dual 12MP (f/1.8) + 5MP (f/2.2) rear snapper and an 8MP (f/2.2) selfie shooter with LED Flash.
