Motorola just announced its latest addition, the Moto Edge 50, in India today. Firstly, this new model features a 120Hz OLED display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip, and a 5000 mAh battery. Moreover, it also supports 68W wired and 15W wireless charging. Under the hood, the Motorola Edge 50 handset now arrives with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Remarkably, Motorola’s phone is the slimmest phone on the market, with IP68 and MIL-STD-810H certifications. It measures only 7.79mm thick and has successfully passed over 30 tests for extreme temperatures, moisture, dust, and drops. How about the display? The phone sports a curved 6.7″ pOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
About the photography system, the Motorola Edge 50 camera packs a 32MP front sensor. On the back, it features a 50MP main lens with a Sony LYT-700C sensor + a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 13MP ultrawide camera. This new series runs on Android 14 operating system with Hello UI. Besides, it is guaranteed to receive two years of Android updates and three years of security patches.
