Moto Z Play confirmed: 10X optical zoom
Finally, the third member of the Moto Z series – Moto Z Play has been confirmed, with a new Hasselblad Mod providing 10X optical zoom. It also comes with decent specs: 2/3GGB RAM, 16MP camera. Let’s see if the phone can be the most attractive one in the Moto Z line-up!
Moto Z Play was confirmed with 10X optical zoom camera
According to some leaks about the Moto Z Play, the phone will come soon this month. Apart from Moto Z Play launch, there is a new Hasselblad Mod coming along with it. This new feature supports taking a photo at a long distant, with 10X optical zoom capability. In terms of design, the phone is measured at 155.9 x 75.8 x 7 mm, which is the same dimensions of the Moto Z Force. The phone also has a fingerprint sensor on the front and a full metal body for a premium look.
The most highlighted feature of this phone is its camera. On the back of the phone, there is a 16 MP main camera which is capable of recording 4K videos. Besides, this camera comes with OIS technology, which promises less blur and smoother videos. Also, there is a 5 MP camera on the front for taking selfies. Moto Z Play camera is better than its sibling – Moto Z with 13MP main+5MP selfie camera.
Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 based on 2 GHz octa-core. It reportedly arrives with Android 6.0 which is upgradeable to the latest Android version: Android 7.0 Nougat. The phone will come in two versions: 2GB RAM+16GB ROM and 3GB RAM +32GB ROM. It is back up by a 3,510mAh battery.
Moto Z Play price and release date
