Moto G4 Play specs – a budget smartphone

Meet the little sibling of Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus smartphones: Moto G4 Play. In terms of specs, the phone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, 1.2 GHz Quad-core, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory storage with a microSD option. The smartphone will also be running on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset.

Compared to the Moto G 3 generation, the Moto G4 Play battery will have improved capacity by of 2800 mAh (330 mAh bigger) and it will be made removable. The Moto G4 Play will have a thinner structure of 9.9mm and the signature nano-coating that is water repellent. The display screen of the smartphone is at 5.0-inch with a 720 x 1280 pixels resolution (~294 ppi pixel density).

Nowadays, the importance of a good camera with multiple features in a smartphone is undeniable. In our case, the main camera will be 8 MP with autofocus, LED flash and ability to make high quality videos in 1080p at 30fps. The secondary camera will be similarly still at 5 MP with a f/2.2 aperture and display flash. With the fresh design and slimmer structure, the smartphone will be also offered in two classic colors: black and white.

The G4 Play launch date in India has been decided for September 6th, several months after it was introduced in May this year in some European countries.
