Despite of the hardship, CEO Satya Nadella stated that the company need to new strategies to boost up the company. To be specific, Nadella stated that Microsoft will not try to compete with other tough and popular companies. There are two ways: entering new market segments or adjusting old ones.

Microsoft’s commitment at the present is focusing on providing unique and exclusive. Instead of following the trend, Nadella decided to start something new, even it is sub-scale and has specific set of customers. However, the company will stay in phone market. This decision somehow will differentiate the future of the company. Although the company would face risk at the beginning, Nadella said that he is not afraid of taking risk. The company is heading to create convergent devices. Recently, the convergent device that Microsoft said to be working on is Surface phone.

Another partner of the company to include Window 10 Mobile OS is Acer. And Acer also appreciates the features that the operating system has.
