Lumia smartphones are back on the market this 2018!

Previously, we witnessed the downfall of the once famous Windows Phone series. Notably, this unique smartphone came with a new user interface derived from Metro design language. However, with the lack of application developer, this series stopped its fame in 2016 with no more production as well as shipment. However, things are looking up again for Lumia smartphones this year with the return of some great Lumia smartphones!

On the official Microsoft Store website, we can now find the listing of four Lumia smartphones. Mainly, there are Lumia 950, 950 XL, 550 and 650 handset. We have previously thought that this was a random discovery since these Lumia phones do not appear under the “all phones” category. However, a Lumia sale representative has confirmed the good news: “They are recently back this early February. Specifically, on February 4th, 2018.”

One of the last Lumia handset to arrive at the marker was the Lumia 950 XL. In details, Lumia 950 XL specs sport a 5.7-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. Furthermore, the Lumia screen has the resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. Under the hood, Lumia 950 XL takes power from a Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 chipset and 3GB RAM. As for the storage, this Lumia phone offers 32GB, which is expandable up to 256GB. In term of the photography, Lumia 950 XL camera includes a 20 MP (f/1.9, 26mm, 1/2.4″, 1.12 µm) rear snapper and 5 MP (f/2.4) selfie shooter. Regarding the operating system, this Lumia phone runs on Microsoft Windows 10 OS. How about the battery? Lumia 950 XL rocks removable Li-Ion 3340 mAh battery. Finally, Lumia 950 XL has Iris scanner and is available in two colours option: Black and White.
