Micromax is known for its very cheap priced smartphones, while still offering decent performance and specs. Recently, the company has introduced its two newest phones, the Micromax Evok Power and Evok Note!

Micromax Evok Power and Evok Note launched!

Micromax smartphones are usually considered good for their price and the performance they offer. Now, after teasing for quite a while, the company has finally added the latest two smartphones to its roster: the Micromax Evok Power and Evok Note has been launched in the Indian market. This launch is the collaboration between Micromax and Flipkart. Let’s see what the new phones have to offer!

Micromax Evok Power specs seems decent. It has a 5.0″ screen, with 720p resolution. Under the hood, it boasts a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek chipset, accompanying by 2GB of RAM. The processor and RAM obvious is not the best, so the performance may be lacking a little bit. There is 16GB of expandable storage, and a huge 4,000mAh. It has a 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera, as well as fingerprint sensor and dual-sim. The OS is Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Not a spectacular phone, but decent enough.

On the other hand, the Micromax Evok Note is a better upgrade version. At its core is a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 chipset, with 3GB RAM accompanying it. This will provide much better performance compared to the Evok Power. The storage is also doubled, with 32GB of ROM (expandable). It also has a 4,000mAh battery. There is a 13MP/5MP rear and front camera combo, which provide better photography experience. There is also a fingerprint sensor, and dual-sim. The OS is also Android 6.0 Marshmallow, like Evok Power.

Micromax Evok Power and Evok Note: Reasonably priced!

Micromax Evok Power price is Rs. 6,999 ($108), while the Micromax Evok Note price is Rs. 9,499 ($146). The prices are very reasonable for the specs. What do you think about these new phones?
