Micromax launched its first phone with dual camera in India yesterday. Coming with 4GB of RAM and an amazing 13MP dual camera on the back, Micromax Dual 5 could be a tough rival to other phones in the mid-range segment. Let’s check it out!
Micromax Dual 5: Specs and Features
Just recently, we reported about a mysterious and cryptic teaser with mathematical calculation for 13-cubed which results in 2197. Also, the Indian manufacturer has sent out official invites for an event on March 29. Due to all these curious hints, we assumed, it could be the launch date of the company’s first phone with dual camera which is confirmed! Yesterday, the local mobile phone maker unveiled the Micromax Dual 5, its first smarphone with a dual camera on the rear!
Now, let’s have a look at the new Micromax Dual 5: Spec-wise, it sports a 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED 2.5D curved display with the resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the top. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 MSM8976 SoC together with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
In terms of photography, we already mentioned above that the phone is coming with a dual camera on the rear, to be more precisely: with a 13MP dual rear shooter with phase detection autofocus and dual-LED (dual tone) flash. On the front, you can find a 13MP camera for great selfies! In addition, the Micromax Dual 5 is fueled by a 3200mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 (95% in 45 minutes) and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. As for connectivity, the phone supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C.
Micromax Dual 5: Price and Availability
