Earlier, the Chinese smartphone maker, Meizu, scheduled a launch event in China for February 14. At the time, people believe the Note 9 budget Android smartphone would be announced at the event. A bit disappointingly, the company instead launched a special edition of the Meizu’s 16 Plus. However, Meizu today released a new poster on Weibo revealing the Note 9 launch date in China.
According to TENAA last week, the listing revealed some of its key hardware specifications. In details, Meizu Note 9 specs include a 6.2-inch IPS LCD screen with 1080 x 2244 pixels Full HD+ resolution. Thanks to the waterdrop notch at the top, the Note 9 would offer the similar Redmi Note 7’s the screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, the Meizu flagship is running on a more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC.
Also based on TENAA certification, the Meizu’s smartphone provides with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. More interestingly, a microSD card slot would allow for further expansion up to 256GB. Regarding the optics, Meizu Note 9 camera equipped with a dual 48MP + 5MP rear setup. As we learned, the primary 48MP sensor is the Samsung ISOCELL GM1. Meanwhile, there would be a 20MP selfie camera with several AI-powered features. Besides, there is a 3900mAh capacity battery that launched with the Android 9.0 Pie operating system right out of the box.
