Meizu 16 Plus Sound Color edition

From the latest updates, Meizu finally announced the new product, or a new edition to be exact. In details, the new device is a special edition Meizu’s 16 Plus made in partnership with Astel&Kern and Jerry Harvey Audio. As far as we learned, the special edition set includes an Aurora Blue Meizu 16 Plus (8GB+128GB). Furthermore, other accessories offer an Astell&Kern XB10 DAC+AMP and a pair of Astell&Kern Billie Jean In-Ear-Monitors (IEM).

As far as we learned, the IEM, the first dual driver Universel, has Jerry Harvey’s freqphase® technology from Jerry Harvey Audio. Meanwhile, there is a high-driver and a full range driver for mids and lows. Besides, its cables are silver-plated copper which is then wrapped around kevlar or strength. Therefore, the options are either plugging the Astrell&Kern XB10 or connecting a portable Bluetooth puck with Bluetooth aptX HD support.

Otherwise, the Meizu 16 Plus’ support for Qualcomm’s aptX HD also includes a DAC and AMP built-in. According to the teaser, the IEM comes in two colors blue and red, but the Meizu phone’s Sound Color set ships with the red variant. For details about Meizu 16 Plus specs, check here.
