Mafia III mods worth trying out!
Mods can make a game much more awesome or ridiculous. Take GTA V for example, you can use Galaxy Note 7 bombs, or play with Superman’s power soon. Mafia III is not an exception, there are some Mafia III mods worth trying out too!
1. Teleport between districts
Teleportation is a cool ability in any game. Especially in Mafia III, where there are no fast travelling options, so we usually have to crawl from one place to the other (well, not technically crawling, since we’re driving cars, but you get the point). It really help shortens travelling time that many consider useless (actually not that much depending on the game; some players want to travel). With this new mod from BabaRaw, now you can save a lot of time travelling between districts, so you can go and beat other gangsters up. It will come in very handy, especially for the latter parts of the game.
However, for the first 30 hours or so, it is recommended that you actually take time to travel manually using what the game offers you. New Bordeaux is a big place, and the enhanced graphics and physics makes it worth your time to explore the place. Once you are getting enough, you can use the mod the go to other places in an instant.
2. Bullet time
It is always cool if you can do everything in slow-motion, like in the Matrix, or Max Payne games. Now you can watch the world as a bullet does, with Sladernimo’s mod. You can slow down time when you are in and out of a car, so that you can have some tactical advantages in fights, as well as a cinematic experience you have always wanted in a game using guns like Mafia.
3. No rear view mirror
When riding cars in Mafia III, you will now see the rear mirror view, which shows what happens at the back, like when riding a car and actually looking at the rear mirror. It can be somewhat useful, but most of the time, we don’t really need it, and it can be a very useless distraction at times. Draconio’s mod will help you remove this rear mirror view out of your sight when you want to, so you can enjoy driving a car normally like in previous Mafia games.
4. Manual transmission
If you think the driving mechanics in Mafia is not real enough for you, Budzilla’s mod will offer you something more. You will have access to manual transmission. It adds some more complications to the driving experience, adding full manual transmission to cars. Try driving manually with the wheel and the brakes, as if you are in the car. Try to see if you can drive or not!
5. Ragdoll
This mod from Josh makes you play the ragdoll move anytime you want. Oh, you are surrounded by mobs? Fake death. They will leave you. Or for some good old fun, try scaring you friends and family! Try and watch the consequences. However, don’t try this in real life. Seriously!
Mafia III mods worth trying out!
With the games coming out already, there are so many things you can do. The Mafia III mods above will give you a very good time with the game. Just try for yourself!
