Linshof i8 – LowCost – High Spec – Made in Germany
Have you ever imagined what a phone would be like if it had the customization of Android, the ability to look like a Windows Phone, and the security similar to that of a BlackBerry device? If you have, it seems that you might not have to wait much longer to get your hands on such a device. The first smartphone made by a German company, The Linshof i8, is expected to be all of these things.
According to Dr. Tomas Bencik, the CEO of Linshof, “i8 is everything you need it to be and goes beyond a consumer device. It’s a true business tool. It meets enterprise-grade security requirements and runs smoothly, even while using the most demanding programs.”
Linshof i8 has made with passion and an attention to detail all the way down to the smallest minutiae, we have created a phone that exceeds all expectations, according to the official website of Linshof.
It is designed with an oddly octagon-shaped Android smartphone with a display of 5″ full HD, runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). The phone will back that up with an octa-core processor clocked at 2.1GHz and 3GB of RAM, likes some other flasgship devices, as well as 80GB of storage. The special thing is that 64GB of storage will use for media, etc., and 16GB will use for apps and the operating system itself.
The i8 reports a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. 13-megapixel cameras is now seemingly becoming the new trend for main camera. And many company are starting to concentrate on the importance of the secondary camera as well, to appeal selfie lovers, may be. Both cameras, in terms of megapixel density, are again at the same quality measurement (and even marginally above when it comes to the front-facing camera) compared with the others.
With the website annoucing that the phone will be available in Q1 of 2015 at price of USD 380 (17084 peso), meaning we don’t have to wait much to see what’s really going on with this company and this phone. This phone is still a mystery for us. But wait for it.
