LG X5 2018 debuts with 4500mAh battery and Android 8.0 Oreo!
After releasing their latest flagship LG G7 ThinQ, the Korean manufacturer now takes time to unveil more devices for their low-end and mid-range series. Notably, LG has added one more entry-level handset to their LG X series today with the name LG X5 2018. In details, this LG phone is the new variant of the LG X5 2016 with some new changes. Regarding the hardware, the LG smartphone arrives with a regular form and circular fingerprint sensor.
On the front, the LG X5 screen has large bezels on the top and bottom. Meanwhile, we spot a single camera lens on the back. In term of the display, LG X5 2018 specs sport a 5.5-inch HD with the resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. Moreover, the LG device measures at 154.7 x 78.1 x 8.9mm and weighing in at 171g. Under the hood, the new LG X5 model takes power from the MediaTek’s MT6750 chipset with octa-core 1.5GHz processor. Besides, the LG phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo OS.
How about the photography system? LG X5 2018 camera includes a 5 MP front cam with LED flash. On the back, there is another 13 MP sensor with an LED flash. As for the storage, the LG device offers 2GB RAM, coupled with 32GB ROM. There is also a microSD card which is expandable up to 32GB. As for the battery box, the LG X5 has a non-removable 4500mAh juice box. It supports various connectivity features including 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz dual-band), NFC, and LG Pay. Lastly, the LG phone supports LG Pay and comes in Moroccan Blue colour option.

The new LG X5 is currently available for China via SKT, KT, and LG U+. As for the cost, the LG X5 (2018) price is KRW 3,63,000 (or around $330).
