LG V50 trademarked, to arrive with five cameras and great 8GB RAM!

Recently, we came across an interesting reports regarding LG next big move. In details, there has been a speculation in Korean media that LG mulls folding its G-series into the V one. As for the reason, they stated that there are currently not many differences between the two series. However, this situation might take a while to become reality, as we discovered Canadian Intellectual Property Office filings for approval of no less than five V-series trademarks, from V50 to V90.

Today, let’s talk about the LG V50 flagship first! In terms of the design, the new LG flagship is going to arrive with a bezel-less screen and thin metal frames. Moreover, the new LG phone chooses to drop the notch for a full display feel. On the other hand, the new LG V50 camera system includes up to 5 lenses. Firstly, there is a triple-camera setup on the back, consisting of a dual 25MP + 16MP and a 41MP sensor.

Meanwhile, there is a dual 20MP + 8MP secondary lenses system on the front. Additionally, the LG flagship also equips that latest Face ID Scanner technology. Regarding the LG V50 specs, the LG phone comes with a 6.0-inch AMOLED screen (4K resolution of 2160 x3840 pixels). There is also Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. Under the hood, the LG flagship comes running on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. As for the storage, there are 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/512GB ROM. For now, there is no mention of a microSD card. Regarding the battery box, the LG V50 rocks a non-removable 6000mAh juice box and Quick Charge support. Additionally, the LG phone also comes with IP68 certificate – Dust/Water Proof. In term of the operating system, the LG device is going to come running on the new Android Pie version. Lastly, the LG phone comes with an under-display fingerprint scanner feature.

LG V50 release date and price
