LG V50 ThinQ: the first LG phone with 5G support, Snapdragon 855 and five cameras!

Based on the latest reports, many smartphone brands are planning to introduce new product lines for their 5G phones. However, it seems like LG is playing a different game. In details, the Korean manufacturer is going to release their first 5G support handset under the V-series banner. The original information came from the Korean publication ETNews, so it looks quite legit! Furthermore, it also unveiled more behind the scene record of LG’s strategy for this year.

Firstly, LG is going to present two new flagship-level devices at the MWC 2019 this February. We have the LG G8 ThinQ, the successor to the G7 which they launched last year. You can read more about this device right HERE! On the other hand, the Korean brand plans to unveil the LG V50 ThinQ, its first ever 5G phone to compete against the Samsung Galaxy S10 X. Furthermore, this new premium device is also going to enter the 5G battle between two Chinese giant Huawei and Xiaomi.

Now, let’s see what the LG V50 ThinQ can pack. Regarding the display, the LG phone reportedly has a 6.0-inch P-OLED screen (1440 x 3120 pixels). Under the hood, the device can run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset. Furthermore, it can also offer 64/128 GB, 6GB RAM (storage are expandable up to 512GB). Additionally, LG V50 ThinQ camera can sport a triple 16MP sensors and another dual 8MP selfie lens. As for the battery box, it packs a decent 4000mAh capacity. Besides 5G support, the LG smartphone also comes running on Android 9.0 Pie OS.
