LG V40 expects to be the successor of LG V30 flagships this year with the improvement of 2018 top features. For details, LG V40 specs include the upcoming octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. Huawei Mate 10 Pro rocks an octa-core Hisilicon Kirin 970 chipset. Huawei handset provides 4GB/6GB RAM with unexpandable 64GB/128GB ROM. Meanwhile, LG V40 offers bigger 6GB/8GB RAM with 128GB/256GB ROM (expandable to 256GB). As a result, LG V40 is the more powerful smartphone to win this round with better performance.

For the cameras, Huawei Mate 10 Pro specs include dual 20MP+12MP rear cameras (f/1.6) with dual-tone LED Flash and an 8MP selfie snapper. Meanwhile, LG V40 packs a 20MP primary camera (f/2.8) and another 12MP selfie shooter (f/1.6). Besides, LG V40 runs Android Oreo 8.1 while Huawei Mate 10 Pro runs Android Oreo 8.0. Since both devices also own the same battery of 4000mAh, LG V40 gains our vote this round for better cameras.

At first glance, Huawei Mate 10 Pro packs a 6” AMOLED screen with resolutions of 1080 x 2160 pixels. On the other hand, LG V40 features a bigger 6.2” P-OLED screen with higher resolutions of 2960×1440 pixels. As a result, LG V40 future flagship seems to gain a point this round for better display.

LG V40 release date starts in June of 2018 while Huawei Mate 10 Pro is available since October of 2017. Besides, Huawei Mate 10 Pro price begins at $820 (~ Rs. 53400) when LG V40 falls at $1100 (Rs. 71,621).
